Revisiting the Death Penalty in TX
The New York Times has a piece today about the late Cameron Todd Willingham, convicted as a murderer of his three daughters and executed in Texas in 2004. His family is bringing a somewhat unprecedented posthumous appeal in order to clear his name. This could be the case that finally proves beyond most shadows of doubt that the government executed an innocent man.
